One more flight then I get a break for almost two weeks from the flying. Toronto to L.A. was almost 5.5 hours. Then basically walked right on the next plane to Sydney, Australia which was a lovely 15 hour flight! Thankfully I was so tired that I slept for majority of it! This next flight is a little less than 4hours so should feel like a quick jaunt compared to the last 36 hours!

Right now I'm sitting in the airport in Sydney waiting to board my last flight to Nadi, Fiji. The security personal here are by far the most friendly and talkative that I've run into in any of my travels! There was the smallest line at the security here compared to anywhere as well.

A few days ago my mother asked me if I was excited to get going. While I kinda was I told her that I'd start to get excited as soon as I was packed and sure enough, as soon as those zippers were done up ... I couldn't stop smiling! Lots of little hiccups in the packing process made it a little more stressful than usual. First I went to gather up my insulin pump supplies on Sunday night when I got home from Toronto and .... they weren't there! I swear that I left a couple boxes of supplies in Parry Sound but they are no where to be found. So a few emails and phone calls later, it was arranged that I'd pick up what I needed in T.O. before heading to the airport. Problem #1 solved.

Now problem #2, paddle delivery. I was supposed to receive a shipment of paddles from Lavas on Sunday or Monday and as for Monday after school, still no paddles. I was starting to worry, so on the phone I get to try and track the package. I was on the verge of freak out when it was time to head to Yoga. Thank goodness for Ellen at Yoga In The Sound! She and my long-time friend Lacey helped me calm down and by the time class was over, I had a plan B and was in a great mood. Paddles finally arrived after dinner so got them cut to size and handles on before I finally got to packing.

After a late night of sorting clothes and packing, I got up early on Tuesday morning to take those new paddles for a spin ... wow are they fast! Had an awesome paddle on the Bay before finishing up the packing and hitting the road.

I hope to have internet access fairly regularly and will be updating as much as I can.

Thanks for all your love and support!
