So much has happened the last few weeks, I don't really know where to start! I'll get to posting a bunch of stuff as this week goes on but right now ... I have to hit the water!
Diabetes Mine is an online resource for people with Diabetes. This week there are two fantastic stories on US Olympic XC skier Kris Freeman, find part 1 here and part 2 here. Kris is an ispiration to all athletes with Diabetes involved in endurance sports. His dedication to fine tuning his insulin regimen to ensure that he's in a BG range that will allow him to maximize his performance is phenominal! Diabetesaliciousness also had an interesting article this week called "If Diabetes Was an Olympic Sport... " discussing many of the aspects of Diabetes that we have to deal with every second of every day. You may not know this but all my expenses/costs/fees come out of my own pocket.
