So much has happened the last few weeks, I don't really know where to start!

I'm settled into life in the Okanagan and loving it! Training is right on schedule and everyday I'm feeling stronger, fitter and faster!

Right now I'm sitting in Vancouver having a nice evening with Rick's bro's family. I just had a Mii made for me and am being challenged to do the kayaking on the Wii Sports Resort. See how long I have til it's my turn to go. It's been a crazy couple days since Rick and I drove over from Peachland on Friday. Got right into the OC6 on Friday night for an hour or so with my teammates from Team Canada ... wow are these chicks fast! I'm glad they're on my team!

We raced on Saturday in March Madness, check out our times here. First race was with my Open Womens crew in the mens race. We had great corners and came in 3rd. My second race was immediately after the first one and we had two of us from the open crew plus two from the masters along with our steers and a local gal. Again we had a good race and came over the line in front of all the other womens teams out there.

Had a few ups and downs in terms of blood sugars but live and learn right? I'll be doing a post about my crazy blood sugar changes and insulin needs in a few days.

Life is starting to get a bit more of a schedule to it. I now know when I'm heading to California, back to Ontario, then to Fiji, New Caledonia, Australia, back to Toronto, then back out west. I just think it's pretty darn cool that this is what my next four months look like!
