Don't have time to redo the pages since I'm jacking wireless while sitting in a parking lot at Kitts Beach in Vancouver! But here's the lowdown on the race today. There were a few options for the race. Most people did it as a relay (5km loops) but some of us were skeptical of the relay and did it old school iron. Not all the competition was there that I was hoping for but still had a good run. Didn't get a great start as there was some confusion about where the start line actually was but managed to catch up to the two girls in OC1s that were ahead of me with in the first couple kilometers. Past them and then started to reel in some men and OC2s. In the end I managed to win my class and have a decent time. I only did the 10km, was too tuckered from chasing down Kamini when she passed me on her leg of the relay she was doing with Erica.

All in all great race weekend put on by Vancouver Ocean Sports and Ryan Pogue. The chasedown for the OC6s was well received and fun. Next time I'd definitely do the relay as that's where the competition was today. Good times!
